Daily Panorama: Pier-2 Dogs
Taking a picture with the cell phone's panorama mode often fails because the phone was moved too fast, making the objects in the picture seem "stuck." Sih-Ying Lin uses these "stuck" images to depict how, when things don't go smoothly, our minds can also get stuck in daily life.
During her stay in the city, Sih-Ying Lin found that there were many dogs, both pets and strays, in the Yencheng area, where Pier-2 is located. Thus, she took the dogs who were the frequent subjects of her daily photography and put them in three-dimensional form at Pier-2.
